Sponsorship of International Taijiquan - Culture Festival 2006 International Society of Chen Taijiquan (ISCT) and Henan University

Objective and Activities:

Workshops: On Chen Style Taijiquan (Xiaojia etc), Sizheng Taijiqan, Push hands and applications, Theory (Jinluo and Yi Qi etc.), History and culture of Taijiquan.
Research Presentation: On Taijiquan and Wushu, Development of Taijuqan, Health and Culture. Panel discussion with famous masters.
Demonstration: Team and/or individual demonstration by ISCT members, groups in China, and famous masters.
ISCT Meetings: On organization and development of the ISCT.
Study Trips: Trip to Chenjiagou (birth place of Taijiquan); Shaolin Temple; Luoyang Longmen; and around Kaifeng City.

Event place

The main festival will be held at Henan University in Kaifeng City, an ancient capital in Henan Province China. The gymnasium for the workshop is the Sports-Gym of the university.
